Friends of Medicare
As a volunteer organization receiving no funding from any government or political party, Friends of Medicare seeks to raise public awareness on concerns related to medical care (in Alberta).
Energy Manitoba
EnergyManitoba.org is a site about energy in Manitoba: hydro, solar, wind, biogas, new fuels, etc. Public policy, the regulatory framework for energy, environmental assessment, news from Manitoba, Canada, and international sources will all be featured. Wuskwatim materials will be maintained, and archived.
Manitoba Wildlands
Manitoba Wildlands supports establishment of protected areas in Manitoba, with a special focus on our boreal forest regions. Manitoba Wildlands is a non-profit environmental organization in Manitoba, which continues the protected areas work of WWF Canada and Nature Canada in Manitoba. We work with Manitoba communities, industry sectors, and environmental organizations.
Parkland Institute
The Parkland Institute is an Alberta research network situated within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. It operates within the established and distinctive tradition of Canadian political economy and is non-partisan.
Public Interest Alberta
Public Interest Alberta (PIA) is a province-wide organization focused on education and advocacy on public interest issues. PIA exists to foster in an understanding of the importance of public services, institutions and spaces in Albertans' lives, and to build a network of organizations and individuals committed to advancing the public interest.
Saskatchewan Council of International Cooperation
The Council was formed in 1974 by international development agencies active in Saskatchewan. Now it encompasses the local committees of 35 major churches, educational organizations and international development agencies.
Sierra Club Prairie
From the grasslands of prairies, to the foothills of the mountains, and the tundra of the north, the Prairie Chapter encompasses a vast diverse region of Canada. Our mission is to develop a diverse, well-trained grassroots network working to protect the integrity of our prairie ecosystems.
