The Citizens’ Agenda Fund (CAF) was created in 1996 to protect the long-range goals and vision of the Council of Canadians. Any Council member may join the CAF by contributing $500 or more - $40 or more per month – in a given year. These larger donations allow for increased research, greater organization and more efficient implementation of campaigns. We now have over 1200 CAF members. As with our regular memberships, CAF memberships are valid for one year. These members may receive signed books from Maude Barlow, copies of research reports, and invitations to events in their area as tokens of our appreciation. Once a year we publish the CAF membership list in Canadian Perspectives (requests for anonymity are honoured) in recognition of their support.
