Groups urge EU to endorse UN resolution on right to water

Groups will be presenting a letter to the EU on Thursday, July 15 urging the EU to endorse a resolution on the human right to water currently under consideration at the UN General Assembly. The EU is expected to vote as a block at the end of the month and advocates fear that certain states will obstruct the adoption of the resolution.

Receiving the letter are MEPs: Rosario Crocetta MEP, Heide Rühle MEP. A growing list of supporting MEPs:  Michael Cashman MEP, Joe Higgins MEP, Jose Bové MEP, Bart Staes MEP.
