Maude Barlow to speak at the United Nations
During the 60th anniversary celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the President of the United Nations General Assembly Miguel d’Escoto Brockmann will introduce Council of Canadians National Chairperson Maude Barlow as his new Senior Advisor for Water. Barlow is working to direct a new task force to address the issue of water as a human right.

- Panel discussion featuring Ms. Barlow who will discuss 'Water as a Human Right', with President d’Escoto and Dr. Ghassam Salameh.
