Council of Canadians in Charlottetown to chart better course for Canada –U.S. relations
As Canada prepares to host the next Security and Prosperity Partnership Summit bringing together leaders of Canada, Mexico and the United States, the Council of Canadians is getting Canadians involved. The Council opposes the framework being pushed by big business leaders to integrate Canadian policies with those of the United States.
At the organization’s 21st annual general meeting from October 27 to 29, concerned citizens and key social justice advocates from across North America will converge to design a better strategy for North American relations – one that will put the interests of people before those of large corporations.
