Ottawa creating a massive debtload

The Liberal-Conservative coalition in Ottawa carries on. The record now stands at 45 straight votes by the Liberals for the Conservative agenda. And a budget now passed without any consideration of the need to change to environmentally supportive technologies.

What the Ottawa coalition is creating for our children and grandchildren is massive debt, and environmental damage that will seriously affect the quality of life in the not too distant future. History will judge them all very harshly.

The Council of Canadians is calling for national energy policy as one of the initiatives to bring about positive change in Canada. Such a policy would give Canadians energy security, protect our environment, help our economy, protect our health and future, and put people, not corporations, in control.

Feb. 4 is the Council of Canadians’ Energy Day Of Action. Add your voice to the demand for a reasonable future for the generations to come.
