[04-Feb-09] Special Delivery: Canada, Get Your Head Out of the Tar Sands

In the lead up to the Energy Day of Action in support of a Canadian Energy Strategy on February 4 2009, creative activists across the country sent in their submissions to the Tar Sands Mash-Up Competition! Using photo editing software, they transformed tar sands photos into “tar sands mashups.”

Congratulations to Ashlea Hegedus-Viola, our first prize winner; and thanks to everyone who submitted a Tar Sands Mashup!
