Thank you to those who attended our 22nd Annual General Meeting, which took place October 26-28, 2007 in beautiful Kelowna, B.C.

Along with our regional hosts – Board of Directors members Bob Ages, Pina Belperio and Chief Garry John – we looked at ways to take back what is ours – our democratic right to participate in discussions about Canada’s future within North America. With guest speakers and activists from Mexico, Canada and the U.S., we developed ways to mobilize against the SPP and promote a more sustainable and just vision for North America. Thanks to your help, we have the opportunity not only to defeat something that is profoundly wrong for our peoples and for the sustainability of our planet, but to promote something very, very different.
