Surrey/Langley/White Rock Candidates Forum - Sept. 28, 2008
As reported in the Peace Arch News, "Afghanistan, autism and air space over Ocean Park were included in the subjects served up to attendees at the first all-candidates meeting for the federal South Surrey-White Rock-Cloverdale riding Sunday. But after incumbent Russ Hiebert declined to attend - telling the Peace Arch News last week the Council of Canadians hosts are "anti-Conservative activists" - the most common dish was heard, and seen in "Where's Russ?" signs posted in and out of the Ocean Park Community Hall venue."
