Writer (and chapter activist) Murray Dobbin has recently written, “We have been presented with an opportunity to influence the questions that will be asked in the TV debates. The organizers of the two television debates are asking Canadians to send in their suggestions for questions.” He highlights, "The public is being encouraged to submit questions (in their own words) for the leader's debates at question@electiondebate08.ca.” (More...)


ACTION ALERT: Release the Canada-EU 'deep economic integration' text!

As reported in the Globe and Mail on September 18, "Canadian and European officials say they plan to begin negotiating a massive agreement to integrate Canada's economy with the 27 nations of the European Union, with preliminary talks to be launched at an Oct. 17 summit in Montreal three days after the federal election." The article continues, "...a senior EU official involved in the talks described (them) as 'deep economic integration negotiations.'” (More...)
